Delivered in Partnership.

North East Entrepreneurship Week is our chance to show the world that the North East is the UK’s most supportive place to build a business. Whether you have an hour or the time to host an event, here’s how you can get involved.

Attend

You don’t know what you don’t know, or who you might meet and where it will lead when you attend an entrepreneurial event or mentoring clinic, so come along and find out.

Host

If you’ve got something worth sharing with ambitious business owners, why not host an event as part of the official Fringe programme, and we’ll help to promote it.

Mentor

The fastest way forward is a conversation with someone who’s been there before. If you’ve built a business, an hour of your time can save another founder a year of mistakes.

Pledge your support

Even if you can't engage directly, you can add your support to the ambition of making the North East a stronger place to start and grow a business.

Every pledge adds your name and organisation to the supporters’ wall and shows entrepreneurs across the region how many people are behind them.

Become a Partner

The week can’t run without the support and collaboration of all of the partners, and there’s still room at the table. If your organisation wants to play a bigger role, let’s explore what that could look like.

Go Back to School

Throughout North East Entrepreneurship Week, business owners will be stepping in front of the next generation of entrepreneurs.

Coordinated by RTC North, any North East school or college can host an entrepreneur talk, and any entrepreneur can volunteer to share their story.

Share Your Journey

Are you willing to help inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs and show them what can be achieved?

You don’t need a polished talk, just a true story and an hour to share it with people who need to hear what is possible.

Spread the Word

The easiest way to back the Week costs nothing but a social post.

North East Entrepreneurship Week takes place between 11 & 20 November, bringing together entrepreneurs and organisations across the region through events, mentoring, schools activity and more.

Download the files below, use the hashtags #NorthEastEntrepreneurshipWeek & #ThePlacetoRise, and shout out people who have helped you build your business, share something you wish you’d known when you started, or tell people why you think the North East is The Place to Rise for entrepreneurs.
